Discover Panama City and the Canal in private service
First stop: Panama La Vieja, the country’s first capital before it was destroyed by the notorious pirate Henry Morgan.
Then it’s on to the Panama Canal and the Miraflores locks. The visitors’ center offers a bird’s-eye view of all kinds of ships in transit (container ships, liners or tiny sailing boats…).
In addition, exhibitions retrace the history of the locks’ construction and describe how they work.
Then it’s on to the Casco Antiguo. This bohemian district plunges you into the country’s historic past, with its typical alleyways and colorful buildings leading to the Place de France.

Day trip to Lake Gatun and jungle trekkingDirection Lake Gamboa, where you’ll board a boat for a canal cruise as close as possible to the ships in transit between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. You’ll come close to several islands inhabited by different species of monkey, including the famous capuchin monkeys that live in the region. A day dedicated to meeting the Puru Biakiru Emberas
You’ll make your way to the port of Corotú, from where you’ll take a motorized pirogue to one of the community’s villages. On the other side of the river, you’ll be welcomed by the cacique (spiritual leader) and the village children. Throughout the day, you’ll discover their way of life and traditions, including the art of tattooing. You’ll also have the opportunity to bathe in a waterfall in the heart of the surrounding jungle, learn about their knowledge of medicinal plants and watch a performance of ancestral dances. Finally, a typical fish meal will be served under banana leaves. Return to the pier in the early afternoon.

Pick up your rental car anddrive from Panama City to El Valle de AntonDepart for the province of Coclé, and more precisely the Valle de Anton nestled in the heart of an extinct crater. You’ll start the activity by discovering petroglyphs, which will teach you more about the history of the Coclé region. You’ll then start your ascent through the forest to the sound of birdsong, where you’ll be able to observe a variety of animals and plants. You’ll pass 3 waterfalls where you can take a dip. At the top, you’ll admire the panoramic view over the village of El Valle and the surrounding mountains.

Departure for the province of Veraguas. Follow the Pan-American Highway and enjoy the changing landscapes along the way.
Along the way, we suggest a stop at the church of Natá, the oldest church in Panama, or if you have time, a short detour into the province of Veraguas, to visit the baroque church in the picturesque village of San Francisco de la Montaña.

Set off on an adventure in this national park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 for its incredible biodiversity.
Your day will be punctuated by several stops, depending on the weather conditions. Back on the road to Chiriqui province. Arrive in David, and continue to the higher reaches of the region, to the village of Boquete, famous for its flowers and coffee.
