Panama City

Welcome to Panama!A driver will be waiting for you outside the airport to take you to your hotel. Once you’ve settled in, enjoy some free time in Panama City’s historic Casco Viejo district. Stroll through its colorful cobblestone streets. You’ll find elegant cafés, artisanal boutiques, art galleries and superb rooftops offering breathtaking views of the skyline and bay. Jour 2 :

Panama City

Discover the Chorrillo and Santa Ana districts, on the outskirts of Casco Viejo. Accompanied by your guide, you’ll discover the Chorrillo and Santa Ana districts, popular neighborhoods on the outskirts of Casco Viejo. On this walking tour, you’ll not only learn about the history, but also discover the street art that has sprung up everywhere, rub shoulders with the locals and, if you’re lucky, even share a game of domino with them. Lunch with a typical meal and a drink.

Train journey Panama City - Colon - Panama City

Climb aboard the transisthmian vintage train and cross from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean!The story of the construction of this railway is just as incredible as the construction of the Canal itself! You’ll depart Panama City from the old railway station, aboard retro-style wagons operated by the Panama Railway Company. Following the Panama Canal through Lake Gatun and deep jungle, you arrive in Colon, on the Atlantic side of the country. After a short break, the train sets off again in the opposite direction. Today, this route is mainly used for freight transport, but two or three times a month, this famous train takes on the curious. Round trip in the day, overnight in a Panama City hotel.

Santa Catalina

Jour 5 :

Santa Catalina

Family day out with a morning reserved for surfing!Santa Catalina is the perfect place to learn to surf. The long beach offers perfectly-sized waves for beginners. With water temperatures between 26 and 28 degrees, it’s very pleasant to practice. Accompanied by a certified instructor, you’ll set off for an hour and a half of practice. If you’re already initiated, advanced courses can be scheduled. The afternoon is free to stroll around or to organize another activity: yoga, kayaking, fishing – the choice is yours! Overnight in a Santa Catalina hotel.

Jour 6 :

Coiba National Park

Discover the Coiba National Marine Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005. Snorkeling to observe all the underwater wonders, white sandy beaches, palm trees… You’ll be on the move all day, and your excursion will be punctuated by several stops to discover this place at its best. You’ll go snorkeling, where you’ll be able to observe all these aquatic splendors. Relax on the park’s beaches. There will be a lunch break to regain your strength, and a short 5-minute walk to the Cerro Gambute viewpoint, weather permitting. Overnight in a Santa Catalina hotel.

Boca Chica

After breakfast at your hotel, it’s off to your new destination: Boca Chica, a small village off the Panamanian Pacific. After settling in, explore the immense mangrove swamps of the Gulf of Chiriqui by boat. Overnight in a Boca Chica hotel.

Boca Chica

You’ll be warmly welcomed to the Chiriqui lands by the Ngäbe-Bugle indigenous community, for a day of sharing and meeting. Accompanied by a family from the community, you’ll discover the living traditions and legends of these people. This day can be adapted to suit your wishes: Visit and swim in a waterfall, cocoa ceremony, traditional dance demonstration, craft-making… Overnight in a Boca Chica hotel.

Volcano

An authentic getaway between coffee, volcano, lagoons and tradition.Immerse yourself in the heart of Volcan’s culture and landscapes as you discover the secrets of a coffee plantation. Then head for a panoramic viewpoint to admire the majestic Barú volcano, Panama’s highest peak, and learn more about its geological features. Then enjoy an interactive demonstration of sugarcane grinding in a traditional wooden mill, where you’ll taste fresh guarapo – a sweet, invigorating cane juice. Overnight at a hotel in Boquete.

After taking the river trail through impressive forest to the launch point, you’ll head down one of the country’s most beautiful rivers. Depending on the river’s flow, you may encounter rapids or calmer sections of water and natural pools.This playful experience is another way to observe all the flora and fauna around you, then enjoy the forest from a different point of view – this unique way of seeing the rainforest will give you an unforgettable experience!
