A day dedicated to meeting the Puru Biakiru EmberasYou’ll make your way to the port of Corotú, from where you’ll take a motorized pirogue to one of the community’s villages. If you wish (but are not obliged), you can make your first stop for a short walk and a chance to bathe in a waterfall in the heart of the surrounding jungle. You will then arrive at the village and be welcomed by the cacique (spiritual leader) and the village children. Throughout the day, you’ll discover their way of life and traditions, including the art of tattooing and a performance of ancestral dances.
